The Effects of Votive Candles on a Relaxed and Pleasant Atmosphere
Votive candles are among the most frequently used type of candles together with pillars and tapers; they are actually ideal to be used in most circumstances that require a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Though now used in almost any household, votive candles were originally designed for the religious services, being placed on the altar or in front of representations of Jesus or the Blessed Virgin. Where can I get inexpensive tealight or votive holders?
My centerpieces will be very small, very simple floral arrangements. I want to put small candles around the centerpieces. I don’t know whether I will use tealights or votives, but I will probably prefer votives if I can find some inexpensive holders. I don’t care if they weren’t actually made to hold candles, as long as they are the appropriate size. I probably need about 75 to 100. Clear glass is preferred. I know I’ll only use these once, so can someone tell me where I can get some at an inexpensive price?
I got some tealight holders at IKEA for .25 each (I think). I also got a huge container of tealights for just a few dollars.
