A Quick Scented Candles Primer

Scented candles are incredibly popular and make wonderful hostess gifts, holiday presents and home accents that just about everyone loves. In fact, scent is more closely tied to memory than any of our other senses. Most scented candles fall into one of four categories: Florals, Baked Goods or Kitchen Scents, Outdoors, and Plants or Fruits/Nuts. There are also some scented candles that fall into a special category thatâ€™s sometimes referred to as the Occasions category.

Do scented candles and potpourri attract insects like ants and mosquitoes?

I don’t want that but I love the scent of potpourri and aromatherapy candles, but am afraid it might attract ants into my bedroom.

Not in my experience. Keep the food out of the room and the screens new, without holes, and you should have no problems. If you don’t have screens on the windows, keep the windows closed.
