Are there real japanese legends of animal demons?
I love the anime INUYASHA. It is full of animal demons; cat-demons, dog-demons, fox-demons.
Are the parts about animal demons accurate?
Are there real legends about animal demons, animal-humanoid beings with supernatural abilities? I’ve been looking for links but I think the topic is too broad. Im getting too much information from too a selection.
Got any links?
Fox-demons are very widely known in Japan for their bad luck and evil things. They thought that they could possess friends and family, which is why some people answer the phone by saying “Moshi Moshi”, to let people know they weren’t an evil fox demon because fox-demons (kitsunes) apperently cant say MOshi MOshi.
